Our goal is to make skiing as pleasant as possible for you. For this, the STARTHAUS offers the ideal starting point. As a ski rental directly at the ski slope and our partner, the ski school Fichtelberg with its own ski area, you get the ideal cooperation in one.
The ski school Fichtelberg would like to teach you skiing, snowboarding or cross-country skiing with success and without stress. Everyone is welcome here, whether big or small, beginner or advanced. Depending on your preferences, you can participate in the group courses or take individual private lessons.

01Skill level
Find your skill level
Beginner group lessons are sorted on site by age and into „with previous experience“ or „without“. Advanced lessons are for anyone who can already turn and link turns on easy terrain. Please state the level that matches your skiing when you book.
Skill level 1
- I can put on and take off my skis myself
- I can dose my speed via the plow (sliding plow) and stop with the plow (stop plow)
- I can get up by myself if I fall down
Skill level 2
- I can change the direction in the plow position (plow curves)
- I have speed control on the plow curves
- I can do the stop swing over the plow arc in either direction
Skill level 3
- I can finish my turns in parallel ski positions
- I can combine transversal runs in parallel ski position and plow turns fluently
- I can stop with the stop swing in both directions in any situation
- I can use lifts
Skill level 4
- I can ski easy and medium slopes in predominantly parallel ski position
- Using lifts is no longer a challenge for me
- I can consciously vary between small, medium and large turns
Skill level 5
- I can ski medium (red) and difficult slopes (black) in predominantly parallel ski position
- I can consciously adapt my speed to all conditions
- On black slopes I can control my speed by consciously choosing the turn size
Group lessons run for these three levels. Beyond that it is private tuition, where the level is only used to place you.

- Group lessons run for both of these.
- 2 hours per session
- Lesson times are 10:00 – 12:00 and 13:30 – 15:30.
- Half-day course
- Always starts at 10:00, four days at most.
- Full-day lesson
- Starts at 10:00 and 13:30, two days at most.
- Age for skiing
- Kids and teens 7 – 12 years, adults from 13.
- Age for snowboarding
- No age groups — it starts at 9 years.
Private lesson
- Skis and snowboard only
- Private tuition runs for both of these.
- 1 hour per session
- Lesson times 09:00 – 10:00, 12:00 – 13:00 and 15:30 – 16:30.
- Several days possible
- But always at the same start time. A different start time is a separate booking.
- From 7 years
- No age groups.
- Level optional
- Feel free to state level 1 to 4.
- Anything different
- By phone only.

Den Kurs selbst führt die Ski school Fichtelberg durch — der Vertrag kommt zwischen dir und der Ski school zustande.
